Here's a little brief on my musical journey :-
Training in Classical Carnatic Music:
I have had a passion for Singing since I was a little girl all of 4 years of age.
I started training at 6 in Indian Classical Carnatic Music and joined Sri Naada Brahmam Music School, Mumbai, India at the age of 8 under the able tutelage of Palghat Sri T.S.Anantharama Bhagavathar heading Sri Naada Brahmam. I trained with him for 17 years continuously since 1988 (continue to do so at regular intervals) and started giving concerts in the year 2000 post my arangetram (Carnatic Music Concert format).
Light Music :
With reference to Light Music show experience, I studied at R.A. Podar College, Matunga, Mumbai, where Singers were giving a great platform to explore their talent.
I used to regularly perform for the college and was awarded the 'Light of Podar' & 'Principal's Special Award' honors for outstanding contributions to the college in Music.
Academic qualifications in Music:
I have passed the Karnataka State Board examination conducted Junior Exam in Carnatic Music with honors.
A keen inner thirst to delve deeper into the ocean of music, has inspired me to pursue a Bachelors in Music, from the University of Madras.
